The Snake Pit
All of our spells still have a bigoeffient from Spellpower. Tohed by the Light is what GIVES you spellpower. Tired of that 41 dps me with 300 spellpower on it and a spellpower ehant? GET RID OF IT! Now youan have 500+ spellpower just from a talent that takes 3 points! Spellpower is STILL an absolute nessity, you just don't need to gearehant for it anymore. If you ever do any sort of boss fight (dungeon, hero, or raid) Judgements of the Just is simply a must. Fewer ioming attks = less damage = less stress on your healer. Very worthy of a few points. Kings is an all-or-nothing deal. Either put 0 points into it or put all 5 into it. If you roll with a Ret Pally for dungeonsraids, make sure he has it and then youan put the 5 points elsewhere. If you are typally the only Paladin in your group, you may want to sp for it sie no one else will be providing it. I worked out a sp that I like that allows me to put 5 points into Kings, so that is what Iurrently do. If my guild gets a reliable Ret who runs with me on a regular basis, I will resp out of Kings and put those 5 points into talents that will help to generate more TPS. Tohed by the Light: The reason that we don't want nor need Spell Power anymore is bause Tohed by the Light gives us all that we need, allowing us to stk Attk Power (or more spifally, Strength -- whh is how we get Attk Power and some Blk Value). Don't think of this talent as a threat booster, think of it as the ability that ALLOWS you to stay on par for threat with the otherlasses. In a sense, think of it as a permanent "Defensive Stae". Warriors, DKs, and Druids that are...
(Adds comment from Electronic Arts in paragraphs 9-11) By John Tilak BANGALORE, May 21 (Reuters) - The world's largest video game publisher Electronic Arts Inc. (ERTS.O) said it would take a 15 percent stake in Chinese online game operator The9 Ltd. (NCTY.O) for about $167 million as part of its international expansion. The9 will get exclusive rights for publishing EA's "FIFA Online" soccer game in China, the two companies said. An analyst said this is a way for Electronic Arts, which agreed in March to invest $105 million in South Korean online game company Neowiz Corp. (042420.KQ), to speed up its growth in Asia. "You'll see them accelerate their business in China," Lazard Capital Markets analyst Colin Sebastian said by phone. Sebastian said EA has found a reputable partner in The9, which distributes Blizzard Enter...
The cat is out of the bag, and what we've been doing for the last while is now out for you all to enjoy. We crawled around the Internet, assembling a crack team of both veteran writers and fresh new talent. We debated and dreamed about what was important to us for Massively to cover -- and then built the site based on our vision as a group of gamers dedicated to the MMO cause. We've been assembling news and views and putting in playtime on old MMO favorites and hot new titles. We ruthlessly stole the comment system from Joystiq, allowing you to have you...
Fighting stances are unique to warriors in World of Warcraft. The stance a warrior fights in affects how the character gains rage. World of Warcraft warriors are able to fight in stances that are unique to the class. Central to the stances is the idea of rage. Unlike mana or energy, which caters and rogues use in World of Warcraft, rage starts at 0 and builds up as the warrior fights monsters. How rage is gained depends on which stance the warrior chooses to fight in. The warrior stances are defensive, battle, and fury. Defensive Stance Warriors who find themselves tanking will probably use this stance over the other two available. Rage in the defensive stance is gained when the warrior takes damage. It complements the abilities of the protection talent tree, but the stances are not dependent upon the warrior's specialization.. Battle Stance World of Warcraft warriors who fight in the battle gain rage when they deal and receive damage. While it may seem to complement the purpose of the...
UPDATE #2: Screenshots added as well as initial info on playing as a zombie. UPDATE: We have information on how to become infected. The source is from Booty Bay -- click for more details. It appears the pre-launch World Event for Wrath of the Lich King is now active on all US and EU servers! (Unknown if active on Korean and Chinese servers) What is known right now is that it seems to be phase 1, which is a zombie invasion. Players can become infected by Conspicuous Crates (or other zombies), and the Argent Dawn has dispatched agents across Azeroth and Outland to help combat the threat. You can find them stationed at Argent Dawn banners. If the disease isn't cured by either a player or an Argent Healer, you're transformed into a zombie and can attack other players -- infecting them in the process. While transformed, you gain access to special abilities only available while zombiefied, and you're also friendly to other zombies. We're working on getting more screenshots now, and will continue to provide updates as we learn more about the event and the phases that unfold. How to become infected Travel to Booty Bay and right-click a Conspicuous Crate. This will infect you and open up a window with some flavor text. After 10 minutes you will transform into a Plague Zombie -- wh...
points,ome level 80 that    2009-06-24
Ummm at 70 we have 61 points, ome level 80 that will give us 71 points.go solo zang to lvl 64-65 then do Ah in Terok forest, nothing makes u feel more in the grove then down mumur at lvl 67 or finish seth halls :DHas anyone heard whether or not 70 toons will be rested when the bump is made from 70 to 80? My hunter, druid, and lk have all spent monthshilling in theities, and it would seem to me this should make them well rested when the expansionomes out. The only reason I ask is that if they are rested, it will make more sense toreate my DK and let him rest while jumping into Northrend, but if they are not, leveling the DK and letting the...
but I'm afraid they seem    2009-06-24
I've got one as a pet but I'm afraid they seem to be broken - hean't stealth at all despite having shown iredible stealth skills when he was a mob. ;-)Devilsaurs sk at 70.... Devilsaur = 51 BM = no GftT =rap dps. Might be different at lvl 80, but I doubt that devilsaurs will do enough dps to beat aat + readiness...Eept they are giving exots a 10% damage buffome Wrath. At Uzemaki- Will we have to wait for Wrath for that? I heard about it, but wasn't sure if anything "offial" has been dropped on that. More importantly... will we have to have Wrath to see that or are we thinking pah...
If you are a good healer, you should have no problems healing. Oe you hit 50's or so, be on the lookout for two sets of gear, one for damagingsoloing (+dmg, +shadow damage, mana5, intellt) and a separate one for healing (+healing, spirit, mana5, intellt). Being a fairly good healer (2 years perfting healing as shadow :P) with dent but not great gear, Ian main heal most endgame 5-mans with minimal support, espially with a good group (high dps andor lots ofC). Healing as shadow will not be even possible in heros, and probably not main-healing Karazhan or raid; HOWEVER by that level people know how good shadow priests are and you shouldn't have mh problem getting into heros as a shadow priest. I'd take Shadoweave Tailoring defini...
I'm enjoying my lvl 45 di priest. I was holy but soloing was just too damned hard. The spirit buff helps keep manaharged and the refltive shield adds to damange. In 5 mans, shileding the tank is helpful sie it kks out damage and saves on the healing. I'll probably swih bk to holy around 70 but I'm stking with Di until then. Mh easier to PvE than but is more defense based so Shadow is still the better option. Everyone is shadow so I wanted to be different.I'd avoid shielding tanks in PuG's at low levels. It does hurt aggro generation (no rage and therefore threat generation) and it's not very mana-effient, whhan be aoern if your group isn't very good.Hi guys, I'm hoping by having a diussion with various priests of different sps Ian sort out myonflting thoughts and emotions and dide what I want to do with my priest. Right now she is level 68 and Shadow sp. I love being shadow, and being able to deal great damage while still bringing utility to a group with VEVT. However, as I get into higher instaes and gather up more +dmg gear I am running into major threat issues. This is where I want to hear your stories if you are having the same problems. I have been mostly running PUGs so I'm not sure if the problem is the tank not knowing how to generate and maintain threat on multle mobs, or if it's me. On trash, Ian't use VE at all without pulling aggro on mobs that aren't the...
Well, I'm holydi, so i won't be able to answer your shadow aggro questions, altho i will say that even healing aggro in higher instaes makes having a dent tank that takesare of their healer a nessity. As for wanting shadow priests in groups, i do see that request out there fairly frequently, more frequently now that horde has paladin healers. I haven't instaed with many shadow priests sie Tame out, but am slowly learning to appriate them. As for "an we solo heal or do we need an off-healer to make things run smoothly," there is extly one boss in just one instae that i like to have an off-healer for, and that's Pihy the Lobster in Hero Slave Pens inoilfang (the guy that does the de-buff that does 1k dmg per tk until target is healed to full)....

As in many online games, death in Dark and Light is not permanent. So I think you''re going to see more and more people come, and you''re also going to see the stickiness of online games, that people didn''t think was going to happen.
