points,ome level 80 that2009-06-24Ummm at 70 we have 61 points,ome level 80 that will give us 71 points.
go solo zang to lvl 64-65 then do Ah in Terok forest, nothing makes u feel more in the grove then down mumur at lvl 67 or finish seth halls :D
Has anyone heard whether or not 70 toons will be rested when the bump is made from 70 to 80? My hunter, druid, and lk have all spent monthshilling in theities, and it would seem to me this should make them well rested when the expansionomes out. The only reason I ask is that if they are ...
but I'm afraid they seem2009-06-24I've got one as a pet but I'm afraid they seem to be broken - hean't stealth at all despite having shown iredible stealth skills when he was a mob. ;-)
Devilsaurs sk at 70.... Devilsaur = 51 BM = no GftT =rap dps. Might be different at lvl 80, but I doubt that devilsaurs will do enough dps to beat aat + readiness...
Eept they are giving exots a 10% damage buffome Wrath.
At Uzemaki- Will we have to wait for Wrath for that? I heard about it, but wasn't ...
have no problems healing Oe2009-06-02If you are a good healer, you should have no problems healing. Oe you hit 50's or so, be on the lookout for two sets of gear, one for damagingsoloing (+dmg, +shadow damage, mana5, intellt) and a separate one for healing (+healing, spirit, mana5, intellt). Being a fairly good healer (2 years perfting healing as shadow :P) with dent but not great gear, Ian main heal most endgame 5-mans with minimal support, espially with a good group (high dps andor lots ofC). Healing as shadow will not be even possible in heros, and probably not main-healing Karazha...
I was holy but soloing was just2009-06-02I'm enjoying my lvl 45 di priest. I was holy but soloing was just too damned hard. The spirit buff helps keep manaharged and the refltive shield adds to damange. In 5 mans, shileding the tank is helpful sie it kks out damage and saves on the healing. I'll probably swih bk to holy around 70 but I'm stking with Di until then. Mh easier to PvE than but is more defense based so Shadow is still the better option. Everyone is shadow so I wanted to be different.
I'd avoid shielding tanks in PuG's at low levels. It does hurt aggro generation (no rage and therefore threat generation) and it's not very mana-effient, whhan be aoern if your group isn't very good.
Hi guys, I'm hoping by having a diussion with various priests of different sps Ian sort out myonflting thoughts and emotions and dide what I want to do with my priest. Right now she is level 68 and Shadow sp. I love being shadow, and being able to deal great damage while still bringing utility to a group with VEVT. However, as I get into higher instaes and gather up more +dmg g...
be able to answer your shadow aggro2009-06-02Well, I'm holydi, so i won't be able to answer your shadow aggro questions, altho i will say that even healing aggro in higher instaes makes having a dent tank that takesare of their healer a nessity. As for wanting shadow priests in groups, i do see that request out there fairly frequently, more frequently now that horde has paladin healers. I haven't instaed with many shadow priests sie Tame out, but am slowly learning to appriate them. As for "an we solo heal or do we need an off-healer to make things run smoothly," there is extly one boss in just one instae...
And make a name for yourself as2009-06-02If you like shadow, stay shadow. And make a name for yourself as shadow - I've got a friends list full of people who know I'm shadow and appriate it. People are also getting smarter and looking for shadow priests - a few days ago, I was asked by the raid leader who kked me from my guild last June for staying shadow if I was still shadow andould run a hero with him >.< If you've got good healing gear, youan heal non-heros with minimal bkup. Granted, 2 years of being a shadow priest hasertainly helped, but I've healed Shadow Labs, Shattered Halls, Steamvaults, Bot, and Mh, with a few heals thrown by otherlasses but otherwise very little assistae. Just do...
i dided i don't go to instaes until2009-06-02At level 65, as a shadow priest, i dided i don't go to instaes until i hit 70 and get all possible quests done. Been there, done that. I soloed my way until all i had left were few group quests (5man), whh iould have done as shadow, and the rest were quests that had to be done in instaes. I gathered all gear that iould. From quests, tailoring, few instaes i've been. So, at level 70, eager to raid, i had damage gear with +600 damage and healing gear with +1200 healing. So i did my resp, went holydi (SoLimp DS) and started healing instaes. tually i love healing, so i prefer this now. I have absolutely no problem healing whatsoever instae. Haven't...
interest as I play both a warrior and2009-06-02I was reading this thread with interest as I play both a warrior and a priest, with my main being the warrior. The aggro problems you are beginning to experiee I think stem from 2 main ftors. The first being the improved gear spelasters have been getting ever sie Tame out. The additional +damage and ritanause serious additional threat. This isompounded by the sond ftor, whh is that the warrior threat building skills do not ale well. That is, they are about as afftive at end game as when we first hit 70. To give an example, I have been tanking for my guild for some time, and in the first few weeks of being level 70 had absolutely no problem holding aggro. As we are winding up towards Kara, I have noted that the threat generated by ourastersan easily pass mine wh...
the aggro problem Did theaulations2009-06-02Yea, I just figured out part of the aggro problem. Did theaulations for another thread - aggro on my high-damage rotation (SWP, VT, VE, MF, SWDMB every 9 sonds), I easily break 1.6k threat per SOND, and that's in a raid situation where I'll be doing less threat (assumed 5 tks of VT and 2 VE, versus 3-4 VT and 2-5+ VE in many 5-mans). I knew it was high, I had no idea it was THAT high. Wish I knew a 70 pally Iould run with >.< I'd definitely mah your tailoring sp to your sp. Shadoweave is bar none the best shadow gear in the game pending Blk Temple's release; same for PMooloth for healing. Tier 5 is NO mah for those two sets.
lsfreak- Yeah I know my gear is horrible. After I got to OL I took a new job and I work a ton more hours now. Ian only play ...
throw up a thread about shadow2009-06-02Gear, my spialty :D I really should throw up a thread about shadow priest gear and try and get it stkied. First off, the really easy stuff. Get to the AH, find yourself a Flawless Wand of Shadow Power. Wah that AH like a hawk ;P Also, loak of the Blk Void (an hour of farming tops) and Khorium Band of Shadow (again, an hour, though the mats here are usuallyheap enough it's better to get them off the AH). Finally, 15 Hellfire PvP tokens and go to Zangarmarsh for your Mark of Defiae. Spellstrike Pants are bar none the best shadow priest pants in the game right now, though personally I'm taking tier 4 helm over the spellstrike hood (partly for the -2% threat meta gem Ian throw in there). I wouldn't bother with Battlast. Also, be sure to throw the right ehants and gems on your stuff. Myst Spellthread on your pants, Inrtion of Diline (hope you're Aldor :P) on your shoulders, and pretty mh all Runed Living Rubies in skets (only eeptions Ian see are dmghit and dmgint gems from Heros, and the very rare ins...
